Appointments with Learning Resources are intended to assist you in becoming an independent learner and guide you toward mastery of relevant concepts and strategies. To get the most out of these appointments, we ask that you fully participate in the session and make all necessary materials (e.g., textbook or notes) available to the tutor or librarian.

Appointment Policies:

  • Appointments are 20 min or 50 min in duration. Please be sure to select the length that works best for your needsOtherwise, 20 min is the default.
  • You may only schedule 2 appointments per week, per tutor or librarian.
  • You may only schedule 4 appointments per week, per subject.
  • If you are 10 min late to an appointment, it will count as a “no show” and you will have to reschedule.
  • If you are a “no show” for 3 appointments, you will be prohibited from making appointments for two weeks.
  • Tutors and Librarians are not permitted to assist on quizzes or tests.

If you do not follow the rules described here (e.g., you make more appointments than allowed), you will receive one warning, and if the behavior continues, you will be prohibited from making appointments for two weeks. Continued neglect of the rules will result in further prohibitions and may result in a full dismissal from the system.
